Urban Outlaw

J-Star makes my day. Check out her photo set called Yellow Means Please.

Be sure to view it as a slideshow. The captions say it all.

THAT is VERY cool, Cathy! I'm dying to know how the heck that's done. I know it's a Photoshop thing, but I, a Photoshop newbie, can't quite figure it out. The color is so consistent throughout, yet the textures all seem in the context of each photo. Were there originally two photos, one b/w and one color? Were layers used?

I suppose the mystery is all part of the fun, though.

Yeah, those were my original thoughts, as well. My guess is she used the color mask feature. You can outline and highlight where you want to color. I've never used it, though, so I could be wrong.

Around town yesterday, I kept seeing yellow! It was interesting to think of it as "saying" please instead of caution. :-)
