Sibling Rivalry TV
In the therapy room with Taylor, age 6.
Taylor: I know how to spell TV.
Me: Oh yeah? (trying not to laugh)
Taylor: Yeah, but my younger brother doesn't.

how about ultramicroscopicvolcanoconiosis?
What kind of therapy is this? By the time I was 6 I could spell paleontologist and read a book about them.
But I don't know if these are special needs kids or anything.
Cute--doesn't everyone know those?
;-)
It's Vision Therapy

and yeah, the kids are at a slower pace than most. I'm really enjoying the work, though--there is a whole recognized mind-body connection in the visual therapy approach that's very interesting. It's amazing how much our brain controls what/how we see...and that opens up a whole new perspective on things, one that I already had, but am able to go further with.
Btw, not surprised you were reading and spelling paleontology at 6. I'm told that I started reading at 4, but unfortunatley wasn't introduced to more sophisticated subject matter until much later.
I was going to say (with apologies to Wm Shakespeare), "TV or not TV" but I couldn't even get the English channel on it. Loved everybody's comments.
LOL, Trump!
I started reading around 3 or 4 myself - my mother said my first word was "book" much to her chargin, I assume. But shortly after that I developed a dinosaur fetish and my Dad took me to the Peabody Museum and had me meet the aforementioned Paleontologist.
How cool was that though? Thanks Dad!
